Colorado at Nebraska (+1) - 12:30pm Pacific
Cornhuskers have a chance with a win here to have many of their shortcomings this season forgotten. Nebraska comes in at just 7-5 but is a solid 6-1 at home with only loss to #7 Texas by a 3 point margin. That was a winnable game for them that would have at least gone into overtime if not for late interception. Last weeks loss at Kansas State was not as bad as it looked. Wildcats outscored NU 21-0 in 4th quarter and benefited from a number of big plays including blocked punt for TD. Many NU insiders say this team has improved from week to week since early season disturbing losses to Penn State & Iowa State. They are much better team now than they were then.

Colorado already has the Big 12 North title in their back pocket and will be playing Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game next week regardless of what happens here. The Buffaloes have not beaten a team of Nebraska's quality since early October when they knocked off KSU in Boulder. CU scored on TD passes of 94 & 71 yards and also added a TD run of 85 yards in that game. I am fairly confident if they played at KSU at the same time and NU did, they would have been blown out as well. CU has not been very impressive in recent games, needing OT to beat Missouri and were tied in the 4th quarter vs Iowa State in last game.

This is a huge revenge game for Nebraska who was pushed all over the field in 62-36 loss at Colorado last year. I do not see that happening today. Home field advantage will make all the difference in the world. Look for Frank Solich and company to quiet the rumblings with a big win today.
