Richmond at George Washington (-4) - 11:00am Pacific
Colonials have had 7 days off to prepare for their final scheduled home game of the season.  They are a perfect 11-0 at the Smith Center this year.  In first meeting at Richmond, GW trailed by 15 at half-time but rallied in the second half to get within 4 before losing by a final margin of 7.  The Spiders shot 14 free throws in the second half compared to just one for the Colonials who were also called for a technical foul on the bench.  They will be looking to avenge that loss today.  GW freshman forward J.R. Pinnock was just named A-10 rookie of the week for the third time this season and he may not even be the teams best freshman.  The team also features a trio of talented sophomores and a solid junior point guard in T.J. Thompson.  They are faster and deeper than most teams.  GW has won 10 of their last 12 games including 5 straight since losing at Richmond.

The Spiders have come back down to earth since their impressive 4 game win streak in mid-January that included a shocker at Kansas.  They are just 4-3 in their last 7 games and all four wins (Duquesne, Fordham, St Bonnie, LaSalle) have come vs teams who are at least five games under .500.  Following the Kansas win, there was talk of an at-large bid for this team but an 8-6 conference record in a down year for the A-10 is not going to cut it.  Kansas is still the only team they have beaten with a top 50 RPI.  GW has beaten two.  While GW is well rested not having played since last Saturday, Richmond is coming off a hard fought 2 point loss at Rhode Island on Wednesday in which they were outrebounded by 17.  Look for GW to complete an undefeated home season and cover this number.
