UNC-Wilmington (+7) vs George Mason - 2:20pm Pacific - Game #753-754
The Seahawks remain undervalued here despite impressive 23 point win over Delaware in round one. This was accomplished even with star guard T.J. Carter being limited to just 19 minutes and only scoring 5 points due to early foul trouble which leaves him fresh for today's matchup. Freshman PG Tomko showed he was up to the challenge of playing on the big stage scoring 17 points and grabbing 6 boards. UNCW matches up very well with George Mason as they are one of few teams who do not require a double team on Patriot F Will Thomas as starting C Kulijanin can contain him one on one. This is partly why UNCW swept the series 2-0 this season. George Mason slumped down the stretch going just 3-4 straight up and 1-6 ATS to end the regular season. The Patriots are not very deep which could cause them problems in this back to back situation as they had to play hard until the final minute last night vs Northeastern. Oddsmakers have not caught up to the improvement UNCW has shown since conference play began. An outright upset is possible here and CAA tournament games commonly are wars making the points a luxury. Take the live dog.
