Right Angle Sports - NCAA Basketball - 2/19/08
San Diego State at Wyoming (+1.5) - 6:00pm Pacific - Game #741-742
The Pokes have been playing better basketball over the past month. After losing seven straight games to D-1 opponents, they have won four of their last seven and are 5-2 ATS in last seven lined games. Along the way they played very competitively at UNLV (up 8 at half, tied with 5:00 left), won outright at Utah as a double digit dog, and avenged a 27 point road loss at TCU with an 18 point home win. The backourt tandem of Ewing and Jones is still one of the best in the league and freshman import Linskens is becoming more of a factor inside in recent weeks. Wyoming is just 2-3 in MWC home games but two losses came in OT, and the third to league leading BYU in a competitive game. SDSU has lost three straight games since suspensing second leading scorer Kyle Spain for the season. He was not only a top offensive threat but also a top rebounder and arguably the teams best all around defender. The Aztecs already lost promising post player Shelton four games into the season so now have serious frontcourt depth issues. Starting PG Williams missed five games with a broken wrist on his shooting hand midseason and shot just 14 for 41 since returning including 0-4 in last game. SDSU is 2-3 in conference road games, 0-2 without Spain, and one of the wins came at lowly Colorado State by just 1 point. This is their first and only back to back conference road game situation of the season. Wyoming is improving while SDSU is digressing. Expect the Cowboys to get some revenge with a key home win tonight. Take the points.

INDUSTRY QUOTES
"Right Angle Sports is one of the few services that Predictem.com endorses. I say this because I have seen Edward's work for years, he backs his plays with solid reasoning/analysis, offers affordable pricing, and has put up winning records making him a quality sports information service in an industry where only a handful can be deemed as so."
- Kevin (Predictem.com)
"It is rare that you find a handicapper that is able to balance the business of making sports picks with the intelligence of solid write-ups -- but Right Angle Sports is able to do this and still churn out winners at an impressive rate."
- Ken "The Shrink" Weitzner (EOG.com)
