Louisiana Tech at San Jose State (-10.5) - 1:00pm Pacific - Game #753-754
The Spartans have been playing well going 6-3 ATS in their last nine lined games despite playing most of the last month with starting point guard and leading scorer Justin Graham out with an elbow injury. Graham returned two games ago to play 16 minutes but was limited by the flu which caused him to miss the next game completely. With a full week off to rest, Graham is expected to play a bigger role tonight. SJSU has only played four home games in the last five weeks, going 3-1 with wins over Nevada and Louisiana Tech, and loss to New Mexico State by only 2. The Spartans feature two promising sophomore post players in Chris Oakes and C.J. Webster who should have a field day against a thin and undersized Bulldog team. Louisiana Tech suited up just seven players and six played the bulk of the minutes Thursday night vs New Mexico State in a 22 point loss. Key forward Rogers (hamstring) has missed two straight games and is doubtful tonight, and key rotation guard Loe (illness) missed last game and is very questionable tonight. La Tech is 0-5 in WAC road games and have been down at half by an average of 10.8 points a contest. They now face a quick turnaround and already their second cross country road trip of the month, this time for an earlier start than usual. La Tech is a bad team even when rested and at full strength. Tonight they will be especially vulnerable against a fresh and hungry SJSU team who still has some payback to give for a 36 point loss at La Tech last year. Give the points.

UL Lafayette (+1) at Arkansas State - 5:00pm Pacific - Game #831-832
The Ragin Cajuns are currently in a three way tie for first place in the West Division of the Sun Belt. They have played much improved basketball during the second half of the season as they have gone 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games depsite not covering in their last two. ULL showed some class in late January with a narrow 3 point loss to Western Kentucky and just a 6 point loss at Southern Alabama. They are one of the deepest teams in the conference and have as many Sun Belt road wins (3) as anyone in the West Division. While ULL is playing for first place, ASU is in a hurry to get the season over with. Head coach Nutt is a lame duck and simply is not being heard by his team anymore. Home attendance has dwindled in recent games. The Indians have lost six straight and tonight will be without leading scorer, senior guard Adrian Banks, due to an attitude issue. Reserve forward Handy will also miss due to an unrelated suspension and reserve forward Farmer (strep throat) missed practice Friday and is very questionable. This will likely leave ASU with just 8 scholarship players. ULL rallied from an early 11 point deficit to beat ASU by 10 in first meeting this season, and that was when ASU had the services of Banks who led them with 20 points in the loss. ASU just does not have the firepower, depth, or motivation to matchup here. Take the live dog.
