Montana (-3.5) at Eastern Washington - 1:00pm Pacific - Game #521-522
The Grizzlies have been a hard luck team all year and are much better than their record indicates. Five of their first eight conference games have been on the road and they have taken the three best teams in the league right down to the wire, including a 2 point loss at Portland State on Thursday that was decided by two late free throws. That close loss was despite leading scorer Jordan Hasquet going scoreless for the first time ever in his career. Montana is now 3-3 in their last six games with the three losses being decided by a combined 5 points. They dominated EWU in a matchup 10 days ago shooting 61% to win by 19 and outrebounded the Eagles 36-15. The rebounding disparity illustrates the significant size and depth advantage that Montana holds as one of the biggest teams in the league vs one of the smallest. Eastern Washington has now lost 5 of 6 conference games with only win coming at home in OT vs Northern Colorado. Head coach Earlywine had some choice words for leading scorer and starting point guard Adris DeLeon following a loss two games back, and DeLeon missed last game with what was being called the flu, but Earlywine noted after the game that he had not seen him in three days and had no idea if he would be available Sunday. EWU is already one of the thinnest and least talented teams in the league even with him. Montana sits in sixth place in the conference standings and only the top six make it to the Big Sky tournament so every game is big for them going forward. Expect a focused effort and a solid road win. Give the points.

"Right Angle Sports is one of the few services that Predictem.com endorses. I say this because I have seen Edward's work for years, he backs his plays with solid reasoning/analysis, offers affordable pricing, and has put up winning records making him a quality sports information service in an industry where only a handful can be deemed as so."
- Kevin (Predictem.com)
