Virginia Commonwealth at James Madison (+3) - 4:00 Pacific - Game #731-732
JMU had not won more than seven games in each of the past four seasons but are already off to an 8-3 start that includes three true road wins. One of their three losses should have been a quality win at Seton Hall as they blew a 19 point second half lead and a 9 point lead with just over a minute to play before falling in OT. A-10 all conference transfer Jalloh has been a big difference maker and the return of last years top four starters give the Dukes enough talent to compete with any CAA team on their home floor. The Dukes have exhibited great teamwork and chemistry shooting 48.7% from the field which is 36th best nationally. They already have one conference win at Northeastern who historically have been tough at home. JMU is already 4-0 at home this year, winning all four by double digits, including a 12 point win over a healthy Siena team early on. Virginia Commonwealth is again a CAA contender but is having some difficultly replacing key senior scorers Walker and Pellot-Rosa, and currently have four freshman in their regular rotation. VCU has played just two true road games this year, losing at Hampton and beating Bradley who struggled after losing leading scorer and starting point guard Ruffin to injury after just 12 minutes. Expect the Dukes to give VCU all they can handle in this big home conference opener. Take the points.

Delaware (+6) at William and Mary - 4:00 Pacific - Game #733-734
We picked the wrong time to go against Maryland as the Terps played by far their best game of the season in win over Delaware last time out but there is still value to be had with the Blue Hens. Delaware was getting by with inexperience and a short bench through first seven games but since impact transfers Ledsome and Egerson became eligible four games back they are a completely different team. Both players have started from day one and the team's rotation has now jumped from 6 to 8 deep. Already 1-0 in conference play, today will be their first conference game with their full squad. All conference post player Courtney and blossoming PG Johnson (5.3apg & 56% 3-point shooter) make this a very capable team. William and Mary is coming off a bracket buster revenge home victory over Fairfield where they shot a torrid 48% from 3 but they still have no business laying this many points to an opponent that is potentially the better team. Pride forward Alex Smith, one of a few athletic big men in the program, was re injured at VCU five games back and now is expected to redshirt. Despite Delaware being down in recent years they have won the last nine meetings in this series. Neither team has put up impressive offensive numbers this year which makes the +6 even more valuable than usual. There is no reason to expect anything other than a close game or outright Delaware win. Take the points.
