Boise State at LMU (-1.5) - 7:00pm Pacific - Game #735-736
The Lions have made some advancements in recent weeks in developing a supporting cast for star seniors forward Matthew Knight and guard Brandon Worthy. Senior G/F Adoyah Miller did not play much the past two seasons due to injuries and only scored eight points in the first five games combined this season, but has now found his way and taken over a starting position by averaging 11.8ppg over the last seven games. Starting center Derrick Grubb missed the UCSB game a few weeks back for personal reasons and suffered a sprained ankle in the USC game three games back that caused him to miss one game and see only limited minutes in last two. In his absence, three freshman interior players have gotten some much needed playing time and are now providing solid depth. The Lions have tremendously improved their ball handling, playmaking, and turnover numbers in last few games as well. After committing a season high 30 at USC, the Lions have averaged less than 10 turnovers in last three outings. LMU played a demanding road schedule early in the season but got their legs back during finals week and are back home tonight where they are a perfect 4-0 on the season.

Boise State is 1-2 in road games this season but their win at CSUN two games back was a bit misleading. The Matadors played without two key players and leading scorer Chitwood was limited to 10 minutes due to foul trouble. Boise apparently brought their own officials to the game as they attempted 22 more free throws than the home team. They still had to battle until the end to win and LMU is a much better team than what CSUN was able to have on the floor that night. The only quality win BSU has is a four point win over BYU but that was at home. Expect the Lions to win this one.
