Cal State Fullerton (-2.5) at Louisiana Lafayette - 5:00pm Pacific - Game #531-532
The Titans faced their first Division 1 opponent Tuesday night at Texas San Antonio. They won in come from behind fashion on the road despite playing without their top three players due to suspension. Point guard Bobby Brown (one of the top players in the west), forward Scott Cutley (good looking Kent State transfer) and Frank Robinson (former East Carolina transfer, Big West 6th man award last season) all will return to make their season debut tonight. Two more transfers, guard Ray Reed (Georgetown) and guard Marcus Crenshaw (Kent State), along with senior returnee F/C Justin Burns give Fullerton a potent roster. This is yet another undervalued Big West team that will vie for a conference title.

It would be hard to find a more inexperienced team in all of Division 1 basketball than Louisiana Lafayette right now. The Ragin Cajuns lost four starters to graduation, three more contributors were kicked off the team in the offseason, returning starting senior guard Maurice Barksdale was lost to for the season with a wrist injury, and their most well regarded recruit guard Elijah Millsap still has not been declared eligible by the NCAA clearinghouse. ULL is coming off losses at Ole Miss and Oral Roberts in which they averaged just 52.5ppg. Fullerton point guard Bobby Brown was told by NBA scouts that he must improve his leadership skills and win more games. Each time he takes the court this season it will be like he has a bet on his team. Expect the Titans to stay unbeaten. Give the points.
